Why did I receive a check from AvidXchange? ›

A company you did business with outsourced payment processing to AvidXchange, so we issued you a payment on its behalf. The check you received should say, “Please post payment for,” on the top and on the attached stub. The name of the company sending you payment is listed here.

AvidXchange Pricing

Like most robust payment processors, AvidXchange doesn't publish pricing on their site. Every cost is a custom quote. However, some third-party user review sites say you can expect an average cost of $5,000 for a 45-day implementation.

AvidPay Direct is a program designed to eliminate paper checks, facilitate electronic payments among AvidXchange's growing network of businesses and provide Supplier with enhanced remittance information.

You can accept ACH payments through a bank or by using an ACH payment processing software. A list of online payment methods include AvidXchange's own enhanced direct-deposit option, AvidPay Direct. Suppliers can receive payments within three business days of payment approval.

The check payment may have been rejected for a variety of reasons including: incorrect bank routing and account information on check payment, insufficient funds to cover check payment amount, or using accounts that are not authorized for check payments.
