I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I did a ton of searching and couldn't find a fix for this anywhere. There were a couple posts, one on reddit, and one somewhere else, but neither had an answer to my problem, except to try different versions which I've done.
Dolphin will show my contollers are detected, but won't detect any inputs when trying to map the buttons for gamecube or wii. I've tried my Dualshock 4 and my Switch pro contoller, both wired and the ds4 wireless as well, and nothing. They always show up under devices tho. Mapping the keyboard works, but not any gamepads. I've tried the last 2 stable version of dolphin, and a handful of the recent developer versions, and its always the same. I've tried launching dolphin thru steam, and still nothing. My dualshock works with every other program I've tried, including steam and numerous other pc games through windows. I'm on Windows 10, latest build, and installed both of the additional files that the dolphin installer told me to. I've tried checking and unchecking background and iterative input, and every combination of the 2. I'm just really out of ideas at this point, so I'm asking anyone out there that might be able to offer me some help or tips that I haven't already tried, I'd really appreciate it. I just wanna play some games!
Edit: I'd also like to add I've also tried using input mapper so my dualshock 4 is seen as an xbox controller, which did not work either.

Did you actually change the input from keyboard to your controller under the device setting at the top left of the controller configuring screen? Just making sure as you say it IS detecting your keyboard presses correctly.
Check my profile for up to date specs.

Yes, when the input is set toDInput/0/Keyboard Mouse, it detects mouse and keyboard inputs, but when it is set toDInput/0/Wireless Controller it detects nothing. Same goes for wired switch pro contoller or my dualshock 4 wired or connected via input mapper so its seen as an xbox device.I just uninstalled the program from one hard driveand re-installed on the ssd that my OS is installed on just to make sure that wasn't playing a role. Like I said, I'm at a loss. It's been a while since I've had a pc, but I'm pretty good at following direction and overall a decently smart guy, but for the life of me I can't figure this out.

Well for some reason after re-installing the program on my ssd xinput gamepad now shows up while running input mapper, and is detecting inputs. So at least there is a work around now. Thanks for the reply
