Is Jingliu still worth getting? ›

Or is Jingliu good? The answer to both questions is yes, both Acheron and Jingliu are good and worth getting. However, before you pull for either of them, you must first understand what you need to invest in each character and how they may or may not fit in your current lineups.

Best Build for Jingliu

The best relic sets for Jingliu are 4pc Glacial Forest or 4pc Genius of Brilliant Stars, and Rutilant Arena for her planar set! Glacial Frost is slightly better overall than Genius of Brilliant Stars for the crit damage after using her Ult, as well as the Ice bonus damage on the 2 piece.

Bronya should Basic Attack on the first turn, let Jingliu enter Spectral State, THEN use Bronya's skill. Aim to use her buffs during the Spectral State for more damage. If you use Bronya's buffs outside of the Spectral State, Jingliu's ATK will be lower and hence do less damage.

As for the best Planar Ornaments, Rutilant Arena is typically the best choice as it greatly improves Jingliu's Skill damage, her most important attack. If you can't reach the Critical Rate threshold yet, however, Space Sealing Station is a good substitute.

in terms of dps, acheron honestly might be better. when it comes to building the char, jingliu has a much easier time, team wise and relic wise. imo jingliu is the better overall unit for f2p.

Jingliu is an excellent choice if you don't have any good DPS units in your team. She is one of the strongest DPS characters in the game.

I'd say 30 CR and 180 CD on the character summary screen is the absolute minimum. Jingliu can get to 200+ CD a lot easier than other characters thanks to her CD traces + always going CD body so it's well worth shooting for 35-50 CR (less if using Fu or S1 Sparkle) and 200+ CD once you can hit the minimum benchmark.

At the same time, the wearer's damage increases by 24% until the end of their next turn. This effect cannot stack and can only trigger 1 time per turn. Clara's signature light cone, Something Irreplaceable, suits Jingliu quite well.

Light Cones

Jingliu's best Light Cone is hands-down her signature, I Shall Be My Own Sword, which passively increases her Crit DMG by 20%. It also lets her gain stacks of Eclipse whenever her allies get attacked or lose HP, up to a max of 3 stacks.

How much speed does Jingliu need? ›

The stats requirement is about ~134 Speed, minimum 20% crit rate, maximum 50% crit rate and as much additional crit damage, speed, attack as you can.

Your goal with Jingliu is to achieve two stacks of Syzygy as soon as possible so she can enter the Spectral Transmigration state and increase her attack damage. To do this, you need to use her ordinary Skill, or Ultimate. You can also gain one at the start of the battle in the overworld by using Jingliu's Technique.

Best Planar Ornaments for Acheron in HSR

The 2-piece Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm is perfect for Acheron, as it increases the wearer's Crit Rate by 12% when at least one other ally follows the same path. Acheron already needs other Nihility characters in the team, so this planar ornament is perfect for her.

For Planar Ornaments, 2-piece Talia: Kingdom of Banditry fits her best as it increases her break effect, directly affecting her Ultimate's additional damage during the weakness break.

The only time you don't want Jingliu in her special state is when your allies are low on health, or hitting in an AOE helps the enemy attack you. Remember that Jingliu consumes your party's health while in the Spectral Transmigration state.

As the title says, jingliu is the single best character in hsr and likely the best in any gacha I've played.

Why choose Jingliu over Aventurine? Jingliu is a hypercarry DPS who has access to both single-target and AoE attacks. Her damage output is far superior in comparison to a lot of characters. She is extremely easy to build and can be used as a frontrunner across multiple teams.
